“Third pic is truly my fav one”: Aliyah Boston, BF Colin Murray-Boyles and more shower love on Chloe Kitts’ “drippy” outfit
Chloe Kitts seems to have gotten over her blues of missing Sunday's game between the South Carolina Gamecocks and the NC State Wolfpack. The talented forward set social media alight on Monday by sharing some of her favorite snaps, showing off her incredible fashion sense.
In the photos, Kitts was sporting an outfit comprising a white T-shirt, denim jeans, light brown boots, and a pair of glasses. The post comprised a collage of Kitts' photos in this particular outfit, including some candid poses for the camera.
Within hours of uploading the post, Kitts received immense appreciation from her teammates, both past and present. Former teammates Aliyah Boston and Kamilla Cardoso took to Instagram to praise Kitts, sharing kind comments on her latest post.
"Third pic is truly my fav one," wrote Boston.
Kitts' photo collage also left her boyfriend, Collin Murray-Boyles, awestruck. The Gamecocks men's basketball star shared a couple of comments on her post to praise his girlfriend's outfit.
"Drippyy. Sheeesshhhh," wrote Murray-Boyles in successive comments.
Kitts' post also caught the attention of current teammates Tessa Johnson and Raven Johnson, who adored their forward's look with kind comments of their own.
"Cutie pie," wrote Tessa Johnson.
"Gyatttttt," said Raven Johnson.
Why did Chloe Kitts miss South Carolina's game against NC State yesterday?
Kitts was a glaring omission from the Gamecocks' roster against the Wolfpack yesterday. She missed the game due to an "academic policy issue," via a quote from SC coach Dawn Staley on the team's official X account prior to last evening's game.
Despite her absence, the Gamecocks scored a convincing 71-57 victory over the No. 9 NC State in a rematch of last season's Final Four. Senior guard Te-Hina Paopao finished as the top scorer for Dawn Staley's side, finishing with 23 points, three rebounds, three assists and two steals.
MiLaysia Fulwiley produced an inspired performance off the bench, finishing with 18 points, three rebounds and a block to back up Paopao and ensure the Gamecocks went 2-0 this season.
The Gamecocks will hope Kitts can return in time for their first home game of the season, which will take place on November 14 against the Coppin State Eagles.
