Todd Golden sexual harassment charges: What did the UF men's basketball HC allegedly do?

Reports emerged on Friday afternoon that Florida Gators' men's basketball coach Todd Golden has been accused of sexual harassment and stalking by numerous women. In a story on "The Alligator," a student-run newspaper, by Jack Meyer and Max Tucker, it was reported that Golden is facing these allegations via Title IX documents.

Two women who wished to remain anonymous provided comments regarding this alleged incident. The first woman claimed that Golden would communicate with them on Instagram and this would eventually lead to inappropriate messages.

This lady explained the sequence of events allegedly leading to pictures of his genitalia being sent.

"At first, it starts off slow, like, 'Oh, wow. That's odd. This guy is showing us attention.' And then it become, 'Wow, he's kind of crossing the line. No, he didn't mean it that way.' Then it's, 'Wow, there's a picture of his d*ck.' It was a full grooming process with all of us."

The two women both stated that Golden would like images from more than a year ago and multiple images at a time in an attempt to get their attention. He would then unlike the images after the conversation came about to avoid people catching on. Below is the statement from the second woman.

"He would go at such lengths about it. He would go back, like a year back, and like 10 photos at once. Then, obviously, [he] followed up with a DM, always in vanish mode ... Just really aggressive Instagram stalking is the best way to put it." g/t The Alligator

At the time of writing, the Florida Gators have not provided a statement regarding the report.

What do we know about the alleged incident of Todd Golden?

According to Snoopreport, which is a publicly accessible software that tracks Instagram activity, Matt Golden has had a lot of activity.

The software reveals that Golden unfollowed 118 accounts from Aug. 1 to Sept. 1. At least 20 of those accounts appear to be young women with no connection to the Florida Gators basketball program or anywhere he has been.

There is yet to be a response from Todd Golden's side to these allegations. How he reacts to these claims might also impact how the program deals with this situation.
