UConn star Paige Bueckers' hilarious clip doing a cartwheel resurfaces amid support for USA Team's gold medal win

Paige Bueckers is in awe of the women's capabilities on the grand stage at the 2024 Olympics. In her X post from July 30, the UConn basketball star praised the Team USA women's gymnastics team for bagging the gold in the team event.

"I’m in awe. These ladies are amazing. Goated, all of them! To think I can’t even do a cartwheel 🤯," she wrote.

While the purpose of Paige Bueckers' X post is to hail the nation's women gymnasts in the 2024 Olympics, one fan saw it as an opportunity to bring back the combo guard's cartwheeling fail video.

In the video, Bueckers attempts to do a cartwheel during a livestream while her friends laugh at her in the background. One of her friends says, "What is that?" after Paige's cartwheel try.

While she may not be great at it, Paige Bueckers does like to do cartwheels. She has another video where he does a couple on the practice court, including one with a fun dance at the end.

Paige Bueckers has high hopes for Team USA women's basketball squad

Paige Bueckers did not make the women's basketball Olympic squad this time around. However, she does have a decent chance of donning the national team jersey in 2028. This year, the UConn guard believes that Team USA has enough in their lineup to bring home the gold.

As the team struggled from long range in their Olympics opener against Japan, A'ja Wilson and Breanna Stewart lifted the team by bullying the Japanese in the paint. Apart from Stewart's one mid-range bucket, the two combined for twenty shots inside the paint, igniting a candid reaction from Bueckers.

Wilson led with 24 points, 13 rebounds and four blocks while Stewart delivered 22 points, eight rebounds and three blocks.

Bueckers is currently undergoing offseason preparations for a potential NCAA championship run. But at the same time, she will also be keeping a close eye on Team USA's Olympic exploits.
