On Wednesday, Alabama A&M player Shelomi Sanders expressed her gratitude to her dad, Deion Sanders, for his special gift after she lost access to his closet. She posted a story on Instagram to thank Sanders.
"Thank you for sending sum since I can't raid your office anymore," Shelomi wrote.
On Monday night, she recorded 14 points, one rebound, one assist and two steals for the Bulldogs in the dominant 96-50 win against the Oakwood Ambassadors. The 5-foot-6 guard shot 40.0% from the three-point range.
The situation was not smooth for Shelomi Sanders with Colorado, as she played just five matches last season. However, she decided to switch to Alabama A&M, where she is expected to play a prominent role this season. She will be playing under the guidance of Dawn Thornton, who was hired as the Bulldogs coach in April.

Shelomi began her college career at Jackson State. She would be expected to grow as a regular starter this season with Alabama A&M.
Shelomi is an important member of the Bulldogs as they hope to have a successful campaign in college basketball. She has already impressed with her scoring but needs to work harder on the defensive side.
The Bulldogs will open the new season against the Alabama Crimson Tide at the Alabama A&M Events Center on Thursday. Alabama coach Dawn Thorton has to figure out how to unlock Sanders' potential to perform well for the Bulldogs.
