Kim Mulkey is considered by many as one of the greatest college basketball coaches of all time. She is also known for her iconic outfits during games, something that her LSU players decided to have some fun with.

Mulkey's outfits can best be described as bright, vivid, eye-popping and noticeable. Those who watch LSU games often post on social media about it, wowed by the fashion the renowned coach displays on a normal basis.

It was only a matter of time until her players got in on the action. Flau'jae Johnson and Chloe Kitts, among others, decided to raid Mulkey's closet to try on her clothes. The results, as expected, turned out to be hilarious.

LSU's success under Kim Mulkey, expectations this year

Kim Mulkey has been a head coach since 2000 when she got her first opportunity at Baylor. She took off from there, building an incredible legacy for future coaches to follow.

Having coached the Bears for 21 years with a 632-104 record and winning three NCAA championships, Mulkey took her talents to the LSU Tigers, where she would resume her dominance. After her first three seasons, she boasts a 91-14 record, winning the fourth NCAA title of her coaching career in 2023.

Mulkey's accomplishments continue to stack with each passing season. She has three AP College Basketball Coach of the Year awards, three USBWA National Coach of the Year awards and eight Big 12 Coach of the Year honors during her time at Baylor. She also secured her place in the Basketball Hall of Fame, having been inducted in 2020.

She is in her fourth year as LSU's coach, coming off a 2023-24 campaign where the Tigers were unsuccessful in defending their title. Despite posting a 31-6 record, LSU lost to Caitlin Clark and the Iowa Hawkeyes in the Elite Eight — a rematch of the 2023 NCAA championship game where the Tigers prevailed.

LSU is off to a 3-0 start, blowing out their opponents by a combined winning margin of 183 points. Five players are averaging 10 or more points, with Flau'jae Johnson at the top with 22.3 per game, along with 7.3 rebounds and 2.3 assists. Mikaylah Williams is second with 19.7 points, 5.3 rebounds and 3.3 assists while Aneesah Morrow is averaging a double-double with 17.3 points and 11.7 rebounds.

The Tigers will try to make it 4-0 when they host Murray State at Pete Maravich Assembly Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, on Friday at 7 p.m. ET.
