WATCH: Former Iowa star Gabbie Marshall records Joe Burrow practicing at Bengals vs. Ravens game after she became 'Ruler of the Jungle'

Gabbie Marshall has moved on from her Iowa Hawkeyes and competitive basketball days, but her presence still lights up the stadium. The former Hawkeye standout was the Ruler of the Jungle for the Week 5 game between her hometown Cincinnati Bengals and divisional rivals, the Baltimore Ravens, on Sunday.

Both Bengals and Marshall shared snippets of her visit on their respective social media accounts. The video features Marshall arriving in a Joe Burrow jersey, watching the quarterback practicing with his teammates, hyping up the crow and enjoying the game.

"Such a cool experience at the Bengals game today 🧡 #rulethejungle #whodey #bengals," Gabbie Marshall captioned her TikTok post.

Prior to Marshall, Dan Hurley was named the Ruler of the Jungle before the Bengals’ Week 1 games. The pregame tradation, which began in 2021, features a celebrity or athlete leading the fans to “Who Dey” chants.

Marshall’s presence contributed to an intense matchup, but unfortunately for Bengals fans, the Ravens edged out an overtime victory, with Justin Tucker kicking a 24-yard field goal. As a result, Baltimore moved to the top of the AFC North, while Cincinnati fell to 1-4.

Kate Martin’s pro career canceled Gabbie Marshall’s summer trip

As Iowa fans witnessed Caitlin Clark, Kate Martin and Marshall donning Hawkeyes jerseys for the last time, Marshall and Martin had plans of extending their college days.

Along with junior Jada Gyamfi, the two had planned a months-long trip to a cabin. The trio was looking forward to spending some quality time together and disconnect from their phones during the week.

Gyamfi was slated to suit up for the Hawkeyes next season, while Marshall planned to pursue her master's degree and Martin was anticipated starting her pro basketball career overseas.

However, Kate Martin, who was not invited by the WNBA to the 2024 draft, was surprisingly picked by the Las Vegas Aces. The development not only altered the course of Martin's career but also changed her plans with Gabbie Marshall and Jada Gyamfi.
