Kylie Feuerbach is ready to win it all in the upcoming college basketball season
Kylie Feuerbach, the fifth-year senior guard for the Iowa Hawkeyes, is expected to take on a bigger role on the team in the 2024-25 season after the departure of Caitlin Clark, Kate Martin and Gabbie Marshall to the WNBA. Feuerbach was a key part of Iowa's rotation last season, averaging almost 14 minutes per game. She is expected to double the number this year.
The guard has said that she has been working on improving her shooting, ball-handling and other offensive skills to be more versatile.
“I definitely want to do a lot more on the floor,” she said, as per Sports Illustrated. “I want to be scoring more, but right now I’m focused on the nit-picky things this summer. I can improve my game in a lot of different areas, especially offensively. I’m getting my shots up, but there are some little things on that side of the floor that I can be working on.”
She also wishes to be the team's biggest defensive presence, stepping into the role Gabbie Marshall had. As one of the dew players with experience in the Hawkeyes' back-to-back runs to the national championship, Kylie Feuerbach will need to help the younger players understand the team's dynamics.
