Kiyan Anthony brought out his groovy side to celebrate Thanksgiving with his mother and Carmelo Anthony's ex-wife, La La Anthony. Earlier today, La La took to social media to some joyous moments from her Thanksgiving party, with her teenage son featuring in a fair share of them.
La La Anthony uploaded a couple of stories on Instagram, giving her 14.9 million followers a sneak peek into her Thanksgiving celebrations. Kiyan brought out some dance moves along with some of La La Anthony's friends, enjoying an eventful night together.
Kiyan, sporting a black T-shirt, jeans, and sunglasses, showed off some simple dance moves while La La Anthony enthusiastically led the group's dance routine.
In the other video, Kiyan got rid of his black T-shirt and did the tango with one of La La Anthony's friends. La La was seen beside them dancing while using her phone.
La La Anthony divorced Carmelo Anthony in 2021 citing "irreconcilable differences". However, she chose to keep the Anthony name until their son made it to the NBA.
La La and Kiyan Anthony in a party mood of late
Kiyan and La La Anthony have been in party mode over the last few weeks. On Thursday, La La posted an Instagram story of Kiyan doing karaoke and rapping and added the caption:
“Now @kiyananthony is free styling.”
Meanwhile, on November 15, Kiyan Anthony ended months of speculation by officially announcing his commitment to his father's alma mater, Syracuse. His parents threw a massive celebration to celebrate the occasion, with La La taking to Instagram to give a sneak peek into a special party attended by their friends.
Kiyan Anthony is a four-star shooting guard prospect ranked 34th overall in the Class of 2025 per ESPN. He has made a name for himself at Long Island Lutheran High, emerging as the top prospect in the state of New York with his performances in his high school basketball career.
Kiyan will look to carry forward the Anthony family's legacy at Syracuse, where his father led them to their only national championship victory in 2003 before becoming one of the most prolific scorers in NBA history.
Throughout his high school basketball career, Kiyan has shown that he possesses the skill to make a major impact at his father's alma mater. Whether he can live up to the hype, only time will tell.
