WATCH: Kiyan Anthony’s mom La La Anthony reunites with $1.7B worth friend Kim Kardashian, Cardi B, Ciara and more for a clothing brand event
Kiyan Anthony's mother, La La Anthony, joined her Hollywood friends for the launch of Kim Kardashian's clothing brand, Skims' first flagship store in New York. The invitee list included La La, along with rapper Cardi B, singer Ciara, TV personality Paris Hilton and more.
La La shared a video from the party to her Instagram story on Friday.
Apart from being best friends, Kim Kardashian (worth $1.7 billion, per CelebrityNetWorth) and La La Anthony are also creative collaborators. The two are set to produce and act in a show, "Group Chat," which is based on Anthony's 2014 book "The Love Playbook: Rules for Love, Sex, and Happiness."
"Kim Kardashian and I are producing a new show on Hulu called 'Group Chat' which is based on our personal group chat, so we're in the writing phase of that and just excited to bring all of our crazy stories to TV," Anthony said about the show.
"I think it's going to be great to have a show that speaks to women who can relate and are going through similar things."
La La Anthony is also part of the shows "BMF" and "The Chi." In an interview with The Blast, Anthony explained how she picked each role she has played.
"A lot of it is relationships and love and complexities of love, that different women go through. A lot of the characters are strong, empowering women, and I like to think that's who I am in my real life as well," Anthony said.
"So those kinds of roles always speak to me. And just being a girl's girl, I always look at myself as having great friends and being a girl's girl, and I think that's going to really showcase in 'Group Chat.'"
