Flau'jae Johnson believes her third year at LSU will be hugely successful
The LSU star was an important part of last year's Kim Mulkey's Lady Tigers squad and averaged 14.9 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per game. Flau'jae Johnson believes that this year will be the best of her collegiate career.
Johnson said this on her" Best of Both Worlds" podcast on October 25:
"I'm ready, like, I'm ready to play.," Johnson said. "That's it, I'm just feeling ready. It's my junior year, I've done this two times before: first time was great, second time ended a little short. Third time's a charm. So I'm excited about the season and we have just been preparing just harder, just been preparing harder. It's just as far as us being in shape." (22:52)
She continued talking about her physicality and how prepared she was to play this season.
"I think I'm in the best shape of my life that I've been in because man we've just been pressing so hard on just staying in shape and all of that. So man definitely in the best shape that I've been in and I'm just ready to play. I'm excited to play I don't care who we play I'm trying to just come in and kill now." (22:52)
