WATCH: LSU's Flau'jae Johnson teams up with Shell for a "great cause" in latest NIL collaboration 

Flau'jae Johnson is one of the top NIL earners in women's college basketball. The LSU Lady Tigers guard exemplified her status by teaming up with petrochemical giant Shell to promote a "great cause".

Johnson visited a nearby gas station in her neighborhood to promote Shell's new initiative, 'The Giving Pump.' It is a special pump available in over 7,500 Shell stations which will help support over 500 children's charities across the country.

On this occasion, Johnson topped up her stunning Mercedes G63 AMG worth $180,000 using this special pump to help support Our Lady of the Lake Children's Hospital, which she termed "a local children's hospital that makes an impact on lives every day"

Flau'jae Johnson tied with Paige Bueckers at the top of women's college basketball NIL list

While there is no official data on how much Flau'jae earns from her collaboration with Shell, there's no denying that she is arguably a favorite among major brands. According to On3, her $1.4 million NIL valuation is the highest among women's college basketball players, matching that of UConn Huskies star Paige Bueckers.

Johnson's massive NIL valuation comes through several deals signed with some of the biggest brands in the country. Her most notable deals involve tie-ups with JBL Audio, Mercedes-Benz of Baton Rouge, Apple Cash, The Athlete's Foot and Amazon.

Besides her immense talent on the court, Flau'jae's success as an upcoming hip-hop artist also increases her appeal. She currently has 3.7 million followers across social media, with 54% of them (2 million) coming from Instagram alone.

She also has over 200,000 subscribers on YouTube, with her most notable video being one of her song 'Came Out a Beast' featuring Lil' Wayne, which amassed over 2 million views.

Johnson's focus will shift to the court soon, with the beginning of the 2024-25 season just weeks away. She will look to build on a strong sophomore season, in which she averaged 14.9 points, 5.5 rebounds and 2.6 assists in 34 starts.

The Tigers begin the 2024-25 season with two exhibition games next month, the first of which is against the Xavier Musketeers on October 24th at Baton Rouge.
