WATCH: Miami's Hanna Cavinder appreciates her mother in latest IG video

On Monday, Hanna Cavinder posted a video of her with her sisters and mother on Instagram. The Miami Hurricanes guard keeps thinking of ways to highlight people in her family. This time, it was her mother, Katie Cavinder.

The video shows the five sisters enjoying on a deck. Katie Cavinder is seen at the end of the video along with the following text cue on the screen:

"Pov: you were raised by a 'they're just jealous of you' mom."

Haley and Hanna Cavinder often find ways to highlight their mother and her impact on their upbringing. They did something similar in January when they posted a picture of them posing in an all-blue co-ord set before revealing Katie Cavinder in a similar attire.

The post was to wish their mother a happy birthday and highlight her features and love for fitness. As Haley and Hanna Cavinder transitioned to the last leg of their college journeys, the twins leaned more into their family’s support.

However, the twins mainly focused on collaborating with their college teammates last year. Their social media highlights an increased number of videos with family collaborations.

Hanna and Haley Cavinder will play their last college season together

The Cavinder twins were going their separate ways before they decided to pair up at the Miami Hurricanes for their final college season.

However, instead of living in a different state, Haley Cavinder entered the transfer portal. She was originally slated to join Haley Van Lith at the TCU Horned Frogs but eventually joined Miami.

Haley Cavinder was the Mountain West Player of the Year (2021) and an All-ACC second-team inductee in 2023. She averaged 12.2 points and 4.9 rebounds on more than 40% shooting from the 3-point line.

On the other hand, Hanna Cavinder averaged 12.4 ppg, 3.2 apg and 1.4 spg throughout her college career. However, she was limited to just 16.7 minutes of action in her last season, resulting in 3.8 ppg.

She will aim for a bigger role in the 2024–25 season.
