No. 1 recruit AJ Dybantsa shares "Bama BTS" from his official visit to the Nate Oats-led squad

AJ Dybantsa was on a visit to Alabama Crimson Tide on Sept. 27. The top recruit in the class of 2025 shared a few glimpses of his visit on Instagram as well, giving fans the first look at his potential jersey.

It looks like Dyabantsa is still clearing out his camera roll from his time with Nate Oats' program. In his latest Instagram story, posted on Sept. 30, the five star recruit shared a glimpse of himself enoying a game of pool at Crimson Tide’s campus.

"Bama bts 🎱," Dyabantsa wrote on his story.

It looks like AJ Dybantsa had a blast during his Alabama visit, but the best player in the nation is slated for two more visits on the upcoming weekends. He will visit the Baylor Bears on Friday before traveling for the Brigham Young campus on Oct. 11.

The 6-foot-9 forward has solid ties with the Crimson Tide. Nate Oats’ current assistant coach Preston Murphy was Dybantsa’s first EYBL coach at Team Expressions. Moreover, just like Dybantsa, Murphy believes in the youngster’s comparisons with Brandon Miller and two-way adaptability.

A commitment from AJ Dybantsa would ignite Alabama's incoming class as one of the best in the nation. Nate Oats has garnered commitments from Amari Allen (ranked 66th on 247Sports) and London Jemison (38th).

AJ Dybantsa will reveal his college decision next year

Dybantsa's father, Ace Dybantsa, revealed during a conversation with Brendan Marks that his son will declare his final college decision in February 2025. The decision comes purely in light of honoring Black History Month.

Ace has been the biggest inspiration for Dybantsa, on and off the court, and is assumed to guide the top recruit in his college decision. AJ Dybantsa has tapped into all areas of his game and continues to develop as an elite player. He was one of the best scorers in EYBL's season long tourney and the Peach Jam. Moreover, he will attend the Utah Prep School in his senior year.

Currently, BYU, North Carolina Tar Heels and Auburn are leading to land Dybantsa. Alabama, USC, Baylor, Kansas and Kansas State are in his second tier of contending programs.
