WATCH: Rutgers’ Dylan Harper features in creative video for $19.67 billion company
Right after another 24-point outing in the Garden State Hardwood Classic, Dylan Harper posted a collaboration with Red Bull. In the short video posted by the $19.6 billion company (as per Statista) and one of the top recruits in the nation, Harper was recorded in the front of the backdrop, pointing to the camera while donning an all-black outfit.
With that, the video immediately switches to a match-cut photo montage of Harper wearing, posing and hooping in several Red Bull merch like a fishing cap, headband, sleeveless tops, snapback cap and the energy drink can.
"Changing the game frame by frame 📸 remember the name: @dylharpp Big weekend ahead vs. Princeton. Let’s go.," the post read.
Dylan Harper signed a NIL deal with Red Bull on Nov. 4, 2024, making him the first male college basketball player to partner with the brand. The energy drink company also clinched a notable feat in October when it solidified a deal with AJ Dybantsa, the top recruit in the 2025 Division I class.
Dylan Harper wants to serve the community with the help of Red Bull
Like many basketball fans, Dylan Harper first fell in love with Red Bull due to the brand's advertisements with Blake Griffin. While the Rutgers guard does not have the high-flying ability of the former SLAM Dunk champion, Harper believes his outgoingness and ability to have fun along the way match the brand.
Harper said he wants to give back to the community through initiatives by Red Bull.
"I want to do stuff for the community to give back," Harper said in an exclusive with Boardroom. "That’s the biggest thing for me. Being that figure that people could look to in the community. I want to give back to the people who gave a lot to me."
"People that always looked out for me, no matter where I was at the time. Whether I was unranked or who I am now, there’s people that always kept it real and genuine with me. I want to give back to them and to the community."
Dylan Harper also has NIL deals with Nike and Fanatics, making his NIL valuation to be worth $1.8 million. The freshman is averaging 23.5 points (third-best in college), 4.8 rebounds and 4.4 assists on 52.0% shooting.
