WATCH: TCU star Hailey Van Lith pulls a hilarious prank on NBA star Jalen Suggs
TCU Horned Frogs guard Hailey Van Lith could not secure a gold medal for Team USA in women's 3×3 basketball at the Paris Olympics. However, her impressive performance against Canada earned the team a bronze.
On Friday, Overtime shared an Instagram video showing Van Lith playing a hilarious prank on Orlando Magic's Jalen Suggs.
Van Lith, Suggs' sister Jennica and two other friends get ready to dance to the trending song "Might Be" by DJ Luke Nasty. However, as they start filming, Suggs assumes they will all follow the beat together, only to realize he is the victim of a prank and the only one making the move. The video cuts to Suggs looking slightly confused while Van Lith and others burst into laughter.

Jalen Suggs and Hailey Van Lith were reportedly in a relationship in 2021. They did not disclose when they got together but made their relationship public in June that year, per the New York Post. However, the couple has seemingly split.
The recent clip of the two enjoying time together left basketball fans confused and wondering if the two were still seeing each other.
"They together still?" an Instagram user commented on the post.
Hailey Van Lith alleges referee bias at Olympics
Former LSU star Hailey Van Lith did not hold back with her criticism of officiating in the U.S. women's national team's 18-16 loss to Spain in the semifinals of the 2024 Olympics.
The United States entered the tournament with the high hope of repeating the success of the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, but it fell short this year. Van Lith, who scored eight points in the semifinal matchup, called out the referees for their apparently questionable decisions throughout the game.
"This was 1,000% BS. Those refs wanted the U.S. to lose," the 5-foot-9 guard said after the game. "They were flopping left and right. They are not that good. Great job, ladies, we know who should have won."
Van Lith's remarks were similar to what Brian Windhorst of ESPN said.
"FIBA doesn’t really want the USA to do good at three-on-three basketball. They really want that to be for countries that can't field five-on-five teams," Windhorst said. "So, they do all these things, like they have all these different layers and layers of things you have to do to qualify."
The Paris Olympics are the first time Hailey Van Lith has settled for anything less than gold. She has won a gold medal with Team USA in every other tournament she has played in.
