Dan Hurley receives criticism from Skip Bayless for appearance during Stephon Castle's interview
Dan Hurley was on hand to support his players that were selected in the lottery portion of the 2024 NBA Draft. The UConn Huskies head coach accompanied Stephon Castle during his interview with ESPN after the San Antonio Spurs made him the fourth overall pick. Skip Bayless claimed the two-time national champion taking screen time away from the incoming rookie, tweeting:
"Wait, Dan Hurley is camera-hogging Stephon Castle's interview??? Give me a break."
He followed that up by suggesting that the Huskies coach loves the spotlight, pointing to his talks with the Los Angeles Lakers this offseason:
"Dan Hurley doesn't miss a trick. Ask the Lakers."
