"We're really trying to promote lifestyle not clothes": When Carmelo Anthony's son Kiyan Anthony discussed his clothing brand

Basketball is not the only route Kiyan Anthony is pursuing in his young career. The best recruit in New York state is also spearheading a clothing brand, named One Way. The brand was founded in February 2023, stemming from Anthony's love for fashion.

While Anthony was creating content for the brand, the 17-year-old revealed his purpose behind creating it, sharing his thoughts on an episode of Overtime's "Evolution", a documentary on Kiyan Anthony in September 2023:

"One Way, it's a clothing brand but we're really trying to promote a whole lifestyle, not just clothes," Anthony said.
"Basically what One Way means is that just in life people feel that there's only one route to success or happiness," Anthony's business partner Jaden said. "But in reality, there's many different routes that God chooses for you and I just feel like more people need to understand that it's okay to not follow the path and go on your own route," he added.

Kiyan Anthony ensures to give his brand appropriate exposure whenever possible. A highlight of this came when he solidified his first major deal with the clothing brand PSD. A team of designers was deployed to assist Kiyan in bringing his visions to life for an exclusive line of products.

One of Kiyan Anthony x PSD products revolved completely around 'One Way' and also had the brand's logo imprinted on the tights.

Kiyan Anthony's business venture already has support from NBA names

Kiyan's father, New York Knicks great Carmelo Anthony, not only backed Kiyan's desire to build the business from scratch but also acted as a crowd-puller in his first pop-up shop in Essex, New York.

Moreover, Orlando Magic's Cole Anthony, who also works out with Kiyan from time to time, showed up to the same event to showcase his support.

Additionally, when Anthony paired up with Got Sole in August for his second pop-up event of 2024 summer, PJ Tucker was the biggest NBA name pulling up to the venue.
