“What is this”: Carmelo Anthony’s ex wife La La hilariously pulls Kiyan Anthony’s hair in latest IG story
The relationship Carmelo Anthony's ex-wife La La shares with their son Kiyan Anthony is quite special. The mother-son duo showed off their chemistry once again, taking to social media to share a hilarious moment together.
Earlier today, La La Anthony uploaded a short video mainly featuring Kiyan. She mocked him for his hairstyle, pulling his hair quite a lot to make a point.
"I said, take the hoodie off!" exclaimed La La. "What's the point of having your hair like that if you don't... this hair looks, what is this? This is like, what is this? Cut this!"
Soon after, La La posted a story of them devouring some delicious Korean food. She took Kiyan to a restaurant which she recommended to him several times, and Kiyan was not at all disappointed while enjoying the delicacies.
Kiyan Anthony melts mother La La with kind words
Prior to mocking his hairstyle, La La also shared a snippet from his most recent interview with ESPN. She praised the talented teenager for revealing how important she was to his growth and development into the man he is today.
"I would say everybody sees when the cameras are on [my dad] and then they're on me because I'm playing good, but I would say my mom does a lot more background stuff," Kiyan told ESPN.
"Like, when I'm going through something or I need somebody to talk to, my mom is definitely the person. And she's the one who really pushes me to get in the gym, even if I don't want to. To go to school and stay on top of my grades and stuff like that."
Kiyan Anthony is one of the most exciting prospects in the Class of 2025, ranked the top prospect in New York and 34th overall by 247Sports. Amid interest from several colleges, one offer that is garnering immense attention is Syracuse's, which is Carmelo Anthony's alma mater.
There is speculation that Kiyan would want to follow in his father's footsteps and continue the Anthony family's legacy at Syracuse. However, Kiyan recently admitted that his father has left that decision purely to him.
