"Yes I am at a sporting event in LA": Paige Bueckers hilariously confirms Chiefs vs. Chargers attendance, promises to attend class next day

Paige Bueckers was at SoFi Stadium on Sunday when the NFL's X page shared a few snippets of her appearance. However, what fans saw as another chapter of their favorite college player's world tour chapter, the UConn Huskies star saw a possibility to pull off a hilarious stunt.

With that, the UConn guard acknowledged her presence in Los Angeles.

"Yes I am at a sporting event in LA & yes I will be in class tmr AM in Connecticut," Bueckers tweeted

Earlier this month, Paige Bueckers made headlines as she sat next to Klay Thompson during the Las Vegas Aces’ game against New York Liberty at Barclays Center. She was hours separated from working out with Stephen Curry and Jaylen Brown, which had already made her a trending topic within the basketball circuit.

With all the eyes on her, UConn women's basketball's Instagram page hilariously reminded Paige Bueckers of her classes in the coming week.

Bueckers sportingly posted an image of her student portal on her stories the next day and tagged the Huskies.

Over the summer, Paige Bueckers has been making regular trips to New York from Connecticut, for sporting events like WNBA games and the U.S. Open at Arthur Ashe Stadium.

Paige Bueckers discusses her guilty pleasure

Bueckers was interviewed by Highsnobiety, a fashion and lifestyle brand, in July, for a fun segment.

One of the questions was about her guilty pleasures. In response, the UConn star poked fun at the remarks on her world tour.

"Ha, not doing my homework," Bueckers said. "Nah, I'm kidding. I mean, everybody's been saying, 'Why aren't you in school?' I've been doing my schoolwork, too, but I'm traveling as well. So I don't feel guilty about it
"But, I mean, I guess people are trying to make me feel guilty about, like, still being on the world tour while school started, but I'm chilling, I'm good. I graduated, too. So remember that," Bueckers said.

Paige Bueckers’ priority for the 2024-25 season is to win a national championship with UConn. She postponed her WNBA entry this summer despite being projected as one of the top picks.

She has also postponed her appearance for the Unrivaled 3x3 league next year until 2026. She signed a NIL deal with the league in August, earning a certain percentage of equity in the upcoming league.
