“You know he drippy”: NBA champ Carmelo Anthony gives a seal of approval to son Kiyan Anthony’s fashion sense

Ten-time NBA All-Star Carmelo Anthony complimented the stylish appearance of his son, Kiyan Anthony. Carmelo shared that he was not a fan of Kiyan's choice of clothes earlier but his son cultivated sophistication in style over time.

Kiyan, the No.32 overall prospect in the class of 2025 as per 247Sports, appeared on "7 PM in Brooklyn with Carmelo Anthony and Kid Mero" podcast alongside Paul George on July 30. Comedian Kid Mero asked Carmelo about the 'drip facts' of Kiyan Anthony and the latter spoke positively about his son:

"My son is drippy you know he drippy."

Kiyan explained that he wanted to stay in the spotlight earlier and Paul George complimented his 'natural evolution.'

Kiyan Anthony has grown not just in personal elegance but after he struck an NIL deal with a leading underwear premium brand PSD, the designers at the company helped his concepts come to life.

He worked at every level of production to design his collection. In an email statement, Kiyan said (per Forbes):

“I was so excited when PSD approached me, it’s a brand that I have worn and really like so it was very cool for me. My focus while working with the PSD team was to design prints that are reflective of me and the art that I am into right now."

Carmelo Anthony responds to Kiyan Anthony's labeling Paul George his GOAT

During an interview with "Complex" in February, Kiyan Anthony chose Paul George as his GOAT over his father Carmelo Anthony, saying:

"My GOAT is Paul George."

This came as a surprise to his mother, who said he should pick his father. Carmelo Anthony took the snub in stride and this week, thanked Paul George for inspiring his son.

"I want to give you your flowers though, and say thank you for inspiring him, you see what I'm saying? That's big," Carmelo said "So I want to say thank you, champ for inspiring my son to be happy, say 'PG in the house all f*cking day, all night.' Thank you for that.”

Speaking of GOATs, the Anthonys have also been in the headlines about a hypothetical game between them and LeBron and Bronny James. Kiyan Anthony had first said they would lose, but then changed his mind this week:

"I think we could win, I think we could win," Anthony said.

As to whether that is the case is unresolved, but does make for an interesting debate
