"You can't take it out of us": Twins Hanna and Haley Cavinder issue message for TikTok ban with cute dance on IG

Haley and Hanna Cavinder have established themselves as some of the most influential figures in the NCAA's name, image and likeness era. With a combined social media following of over 6.5 million on TikTok and Instagram, their success goes far beyond the basketball court.

During the short-lived TikTok ban that started late Saturday night in the U.S., the twins made a fun appeal to bring the platform back. On their shared Instagram account on Sunday, they recreated a popular TikTok dance, "Renegade," to K CAMP's song, "Lottery."

"You can take tik tok out of the U.S. ... but you can't take it out of us," they wrote in the video.

"Bring back TikTok," they pleaded in the caption.

As social media influencers, their careers have been heavily boosted by TikTok, so the ban would have been particularly sour for the twins. However, the span of the shutdown was short, as TikTok is now again available for its users in America.

Meanwhile, the Cavinder twins are back playing basketball after taking a year off. The duo signed for the Miami Hurricanes in the offseason and have proved pivotal in the team's 2024-25 season thus far.

Over the past year, the twins have expanded their entrepreneurial ventures in impressive ways. They signed a significant endorsement deal with sportswear giant Under Armour, Hustle Beauty, a cosmetics brand, and TWOgether. Additionally, Haley and Hanna have ventured into the beverage industry by investing in Slate Milk.

In July, Haley and Hanna reached a significant career milestone by signing an NIL deal with Under Armour. This marked their first foray into apparel and footwear endorsements. As Under Armour ambassadors, the twins contributed to product testing and design while also appearing in promotional campaigns.

Their boyfriends, Dallas Cowboys tight end Jake Ferguson and Miami quarterback Carson Beck, joined them on their special day. The couple also celebrated Beck’s transfer to Miami with a playful TikTok video, capturing their excitement for this new chapter.
