Nike, Gatorade, Bose and more - Exploring Paige Bueckers' $1.4 million NIL valuation
UConn Huskies star Paige Bueckers is soaring in the NIL space with a reported valuation of around $1.4 million, as per On3. She ranks second among the top female hoopers for NIL valuation, behind only LSU's Flau'jae Johnson.
Bueckers, the reigning Big East Player of the Year, has also earned a huge fan base across social media platforms. With 5.1M followers, she is behind only the Cavinder twins when it comes to the biggest social media footprint among college basketball players.
Paige Bueckers' NIL deals
Bueckers has signed several agreements with major companies such as Gatorade, Stock X, Crocs, BOSE, Taco Bell, Madison Reed and Nike.
This year alone, the 6-foot senior has added eight endorsement deals, according to On3. In January, Bueckers signed a deal with the UConn NIL Store and signed with two more — Bose and Topps by March.
In August, Bueckers became the first active college athlete to have ownership equity in Unrivaled, a new professional women's league, founded by former Huskies Breanna Stewart and Napheesa Collier.
Her most recent deal was with Madison Reed, a beauty and hair care brand. Bueckers and teammate Azzi Fudd are also brand ambassadors for the company and participated in a fan meet-and-greet event last month.
Furthermore, Bueckers was the first student player to sign a name, image and likeness deal with Gatorade back in November 2021.
However, the most lucrative deal in the Husky guard's portfolio is the multiyear NIL partnership she signed with Nike last year.
"I am blessed and honored to announce my partnership with Nike," Bueckers said in a statement. "Joining the Nike family is a childhood dream come true. I can't wait to see what we accomplish together on and off the court."
As a part of a deal, Bueckers gets a signature shoe, making her the first college basketball player to have one. The player's exclusive Nike GT Hustle 3 sneaker is scheduled to drop on Dec. 7.
