Seimone Augustus college stats: Former LSU star's NCAA record, awards, and accolades
Seimone Augustus played Division I basketball for the Louisiana State University for four years (2002-2006). Given that she grew up in Baton Rouge, her decision to play for LSU came naturally. The guard joined coach Sue Gunter’s roster having been on the cover of Sports Illustrated for Women in 1999, which compared Augustus to Michael Jordan. She had also slam dunked for the first time during high school.
Playing for Capitol High School in Louisiana, Seimone Augustus led the school to a 138-7 record while racking 24.8 points, 11.9 rebounds and 6.0 assists. She garnered a WBCA All-American selection and earned the MVP award in the 2002 WBCA High School All-America Game.
With that, let's look at the former LSU guard's stats, growth and accolades from her college years.
