Top 3 landing spots for LeBron James' son Bryce JamesĀ

LeBron James' younger son, Bryce James, is a consensus three-star prospect in the Class of 2025. The 6-foot-4 shooting guard out of Sierra Canyon School in Los Angeles, California, is listed as one of the top 100 players in this recruiting class by ESPN, On3 and 247Sports.

Earlier this summer, Bryce's elder brother Bronny James got drafted into the NBA after the LA Lakers chose him with the No. 55 pick. Bronny played a season of college basketball at USC before declaring for the draft.

Bryce James, who still has a year left in high school, has already received some offers from schools. As of now, he holds offers from Ohio State, USC and Duquesne, per reports.

#3. Duquesne

Bryce James picked his first Division I college offer from Duquesne in August 2022.

"Blessed to receive my first d1 offer from Duquesne #godukes," Bryce announced via an Instagram post.

The Sierra Canyon shooting guard, who holds the highest NIL valuation among high school hoopers, could potentially opt for a lesser-known program to showcase his talent in year one before moving to top-tier programs.

Former Dukes coach Keith Dambrot was LeBron James' high school coach. Additionally, Dru Joyce III, the current Duquesne's coach, was a teammate of LeBron at St. Vincent-St. Mary's High. The NBA legend even showed his support to Joyce on X when he became the new coach.

#2. USC

Bryce James has the opportunity to pursue a path his brother Bronny James adopted to join the NBA. Trojans coach Eric Musselman is in pursuit of the youngest James.

Adam Finkelstein, 247Sports scouting director, said he has been impressed by Bryce's skills for his age, and he is already under the microscope.

"Bryce needs to be given time and space to run his own race, though," Finkelstein said. "He may not be the dynamic athlete or playmaker some expect at first, but he is a fundamentally sound player with solid perimeter size and a good early skillset."

#1. Ohio State

Ohio State could potentially land Bryce James and Kiyan Anthony, two sons of NBA icons LeBron and Carmelo, in 2025.

While Duquesne and USC might put up a fight to secure Bryce's deal, the Buckeyes are a step ahead in landing the Sierra Canyon guard. According to On3, Ohio State has a 92.6% chance of getting a commitment from LeBron's son.

Bryce made an unofficial trip to OSU last fall to attend the school's game against Maryland. He posted on Instagram about his visit with highly regarded 2026 point guard Dezhon Hall.
