WATCH: Miami's Hanna Cavinder features in viral TikTok video with "fav dawg" Georgia QB Carson Beck

Miami Hurricanes guard and social media personality Hanna Cavinder and her boyfriend, the Georgia Bulldogs quarterback Carson Beck appeared in a viral TikTok video with the Cavinders' dog Harvey.

In a five-second clip posted on Sunday, Hanna Cavinder and Carson Beck were seen trying out the viral "She Want a Big Dawg" challenge on TikTok. The social media influencer appeared in the initial part of the clip before moving out of the background and giving way to the Georgia play-caller carrying the Cavinders' dog Harvey on the "She want a big dawg" part.

"She don't want no puppy, she want a big dawg!" according to the lyrics of the song.

Hanna Cavinder is back with the Miami Hurricanes after a year off

Hanna Cavinder, along with her twin sister Haley, is back in South Beach to play for the Miami Hurricanes 2024-25 season after taking a one-year sabbatical from the sport.

Hanna Cavinder, who transferred to South Beach after a three-year stint with Fresno State, will have a new coach in former University of Toledo bench tactician Tricia Cullop, who helped the Rockets post a 28-6 record to rank first in the MAC last season.

One of the concerns Cullop wants to address is the low fan turnout. Last season, Miami drew an average of 2,506 per game and this caused Cullop to give the Cavinder twins, who have 4.5 million followers on TikTok, a particular task during the offseason — use their fame on social media and basketball skills to their advantage.

"We’d love to build our attendance. I told the (Cavinder) twins, 'You take care of the young people and I’ll take care of the old people.' If they come watch us once, they’ll come back," Cullop, who saw a reported average of around 4,350 fans lining up for a women's basketball game during her time in Toledo, said.

Last season, Miami posted a 19-12 (8-10, ACC) mark, in the final year of legendary coach Katie Meier. The Hurricanes didn't make the 2024 NCAA Tournament, a far cry from the previous season where the team reached the Elite Eight before losing to 2023 national winners LSU.

Miami will open the season at home with a nonconference clash against Stetson on Nov. 4. They are also scheduled to compete in the Miami Thanksgiving Tournament on Nov. 29-Dec. 1 at the Watsco Center and meet Vanderbilt in the ACC-SEC Challenge on Dec. 4.
