The Big Ten is set to have a new look during the 2024 season. The conference has expanded to 18 teams following the offseason addition of the Oregon Ducks, UCLA Bruins, USC Trojans and the Washington Huskies. The conference remains among the premier conferences in college football, as there are several teams who have no issues attracting top level talent.
The 2024 transfer portal was no different, as several elite prospects joined the Big Ten via the transfer portal. Take a look at the conference's top-10 transfer prospects to watch out for in 2024 below.

#1 Caleb Downs
Caleb Downs had joined the Alabama Crimson Tide as a five-star prospect in the 2023 recruiting class.
The safety had an elite true freshman season, recording 107 tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss, two interceptions, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery and four passes defended. He also returned four punts for 87 yards and one touchdown.
Downs was named the 2023 SEC Freshman of the Year while earning first-team All-SEC honors. He joined the Ohio State Buckeyes as the top-ranked transfer prospect following Nick Saban's retirement.
#2 Evan Stewart
Evan Stewart joined the Texas A&M Aggies as a five-star prospect in the 2022 recruiting class. He recorded 91 receptions for 1,163 yards and nine touchdowns during his two years with the program. The wide receiver joined the Oregon Ducks as the fifth-ranked transfer prospect.
#3 Julian Sayin
Julian Sayin joined the Alabama Crimson Tide as a five-star prospect in the 2024 recruiting class. Following Nick Saban's retirement, the true freshman quarterback joined the Ohio State Buckeyes as the sixth-ranked transfer prospect.
#4 Aidan Chiles
Aidan Chiles joined the Oregon State Beavers as a four-star prospect in the 2023 recruiting class.
In limited playing time as a true freshman, he completed 24 of 35 pass attempts, throwing for 309 yards, four touchdowns and no interceptions. He added 79 rushing yards on 17 carries. The quarterback joined the Michigan State Spartans as the eighth-ranked transfer prospect.
#5 Quinshon Judkins
Quinshon Judkins had joined the Ole Miss Rebels as a three-star prospect in the 2022 recruiting class.
In two seasons, he ran for 2,725 yards and 31 touchdowns on 545 carries, adding 37 receptions for 281 yards and three touchdowns. He was named the 2022 SEC Freshman of the Year and earned first-team All-SEC honors in each of his two seasons. The running back joined the Ohio State Buckeyes as the ninth-ranked transfer prospect.
#6 Dante Moore
Dante Moore had joined the UCLA Bruins as a five-star prospect in the 2023 recruiting class. He completed 114 of his 213 pass attempts as a true freshman, throwing for 1,610 yards, 11 touchdowns and nine interceptions. The quarterback joined the Oregon Ducks as the 10th-ranked transfer prospect.
#7 Nyland Green
Nyland Green had joined the Georgia Bulldogs as a five-star prospect in the 2021 recruiting class.
He hardly saw the field across three seasons in a stacked secondary, recording just 12 tackles and two passes defended. The cornerback joined the Purdue Boilermakers as the 12th-ranked transfer prospect.
#8 A.J. Harris
A.J. Harris joined the Georgia Bulldogs as a five-star prospect in the 2023 recruiting class. He didn't play much as a true freshman, recording eight tackles. The cornerback joined the Penn State Nittany Lions as the 13th-ranked transfer prospect.
#9 Jabbar Muhammad
Jabbar Muhammad initially joined the Oklahoma State Cowboys as a three-star prospect in the 2020 recruiting class.
He joined the Washington Huskies via the transfer portal ahead of the 2023 season. In four seasons - one of which he redshirt - he has recorded 118 tackles, 6.0 tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks, four interceptions, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery and 28 passes defended.
The cornerback joined the Oregon Ducks as the 16th-ranked transfer prospect following the departure of Kalen DeBoer.
#10 Jamaree Caldwell
Jamaree Caldwell had joined the Independence Community College Pirates as an unranked prospect in the 2019 recruiting class.
After thriving at the junior college level, he joined the Houston Cougars as an unranked transfer prospect ahead of the 2022 season. In two seasons of FBS football, he recorded 39 tackles, 12.0 tackles for loss, 8.5 sacks and one forced fumble.
The defensive lineman joined the Oregon Ducks as the 25th-ranked transfer prospect.
