10 college football standouts with highest NIL valuations entering Week 12
NIL is like the elephant in the room of college football. It's certainly there, everybody sees it, but nobody is in a hurry to talk about it. Enter the professionals who evaluate NIL valuation. They're guessing too, but their guesswork comes from knowledge and insight. On3sports is one of those, and here's a rundown of the top 10 NI-valued college football players, per their evaluation.
10 college football standouts with highest NIL valuations entering Week 12
#10. Ryan Williams, Alabama WR ($1.7 million)
The standout freshman receiver has been the most reliable big-play threat for the Tide already in his young career. With 35 receptions for 702 yards, Williams is averaging a whopping 20.1 yards per catch. His seven touchdowns are over half of Alabama's offensive production in the air.
#9. Carson Beck, Georgia QB ($1.7 million)
The veteran Georgia QB entered the season as a strong Heisman Trophy candidate. While Georgia has been in the middle of the SEC and CFP hunt, Beck hasn't really lived up to his high standards. While Beck has completed almost 66 % of his passes, he's averaging just 7.9 yards per attempt and his 17 touchdowns to 11 interceptions is pretty mediocre.
#8. Quinn Ewers, Texas QB ($1.9 million)
The junior QB has led the Longhorns to the brink of the College Football Playoff. Ewers has battled an abdominal injury that caused him him to miss two and a half games, but that aside, he's been steady. Ewers has passed for 1,389 yards and 14 touchdowns against six interceptions. His NFL stock is probably rising by the day.
#7. Jaxson Dart, Ole Miss QB ($1.9 million)
The senior Rebel signal caller has been an amazing player. Dart has completed 72% of his passes for a robust 11.6 yards per attempt. He has 3,210 yards, 21 touchdowns and just three interceptions. He's also rushed for another 254 yards and three scores on the ground. If Ole Miss reaches the playofff, Dart could even climb this list.
#6. Dillon Gabriel, Oregon QB ($2 million)
A senior transfer, Gabriel has proven to be the right guy in the right spot for the Ducks. While he's not spectacular, he's dependable and consistent. Gabriel is completing 74.8% of his passes for 2,665 yards and 19 touchdowns. He's a big part of the reason why Oregon is No. 1, and he is a likely Heisman finalist.
#5. Cam Ward, Miami QB ($2.1 million)
Another player who has been the right guy in the right place, Ward might even become a Heisman favorite. In leading Miami to the brink of the ACC crown, Ward has passed for 3,146 yards and 29 touchdowns. Taking the Hurricanes back to glory has made Ward a bargain for NIL use at any price.
#4. Jalen Milroe, Alabama QB ($2.2 million)
Not unlike Carson Beck, the Alabama passer began the season with huge expectations and has had some struggles. Milroe has thrown for 1,937 yards and 13 touchdowns, but his two-loss Alabama team is on the verge of CFP elimination. If Milroe can rally the Tide, he could still climb this list.
#3. Arch Manning, Texas QB ($3.1 million)
Manning certainly has the highest value to playing time of anyone on this list. The Texas redshirt frosh took over for two and a half games due to an injury to Quinn Ewers. On the year, Manning has thrown for 920 yards and nine touchdowns. In virtually every statistical category, he is outplaying Ewers.
#2. Travis Hunter, Colorado WR/DB ($3.4 million)
The current Heisman front-runner has been amazing on both sides of the ball. As a receiver, Hunter has 60 catches for 757 yards and eight touchdowns. On defense, he has 21 tackles and has broken up nine passes, including a pair of interceptions. Hunter is exceptional on both sides of the ball and has jump-started the 6-2 Buffaloes.
#1.Shedeur Sanders, Colorado QB ($6.2 million)
The only player with a higher NIL value than Hunter is his quarterback. The son of Deion, the trigger man at the highest profile offense in the nation, Shedeur Sanders is a player that demands attention. He is completing 73% of his passes for 2,591 yards and 21 touchdowns. The only thing arguably bigger than his production is his hype.
