Georgia is the top dog in the SEC in this edition of the game, with an overall rating of 95. Alongside them, there are other three schools with a 90 or better overall rating. Alabama and the new kid on the block, Texas, are tied with ratings of 92. LSU rounds up the group with a rating of 90.

With their 78 offense and 82 defense, the Gamecocks are a solid long-term but not too difficult project in College Football 25. Running back Rocket Sanders is their best player with a rating of 88.
#2 Mississippi State Bulldogs: 80 OVR
The Bulldogs are another solid team, with a 76-rated offense and 74 defense. They need more work than the Gamecocks, especially in a conference as competitive as the SEC, but they make for a good challenge. Center Ethan Miner is their top-rated player at 89.
#1 Vanderbilt Commodores: 77 OVR
The Nashville-based Vanderbilt Commodores are the exception that disproves the opinion that all SEC teams are competitive in College Football 25. The Commodores come with an overall rating of 77, which is lower than the worst-rated teams of the Big Ten, ACC, Big 12, and Pac-12 (Or should we say Pac-2?). Vanderbilt has a defense rated at a lowly 74 and a lowlyl offensive rating of 71.
