3 USC players who pose a threat to Sherrone Moore's winning hopes in Week 4 ft. Zachariah Branch

The No. 18 Michigan Wolverines face another ranked opponent when the No. 11 USC Trojans travel to Ann Arbor for their Week 4 matchup. After Michigan's Week 2 loss to Texas and its close call against Arkansas State in Week 3, Sherrone Moore gave QB Alex Orji the starting job against USC. This move offers the Wolverines a fresh offensive look.

While preparing their former backup to start on Saturday, the Wolverines must gameplan for USC's stars to pull an upset. Here are three USC Trojans to watch out for in Week 4.

Three USC players to watch out for versus Michigan in Week 4

Bear Alexander, DT

Offensive shortcomings have fueled Michigan's recent concerns. The Wolverines struggled to establish a consistent rushing attack against a Texas squad that matched its talent in the trenches.

This makes defensive lineman Bear Alexander a threat to UM. While he's remained quiet this season, his team's defense has allowed just over 100 rushing yards per game. Alexander could hear his name called often versus Michigan's ground attack.

Miller Moss, QB

In USC's opener versus LSU, Miller Moss showed the ability to perform under pressure while throwing for 378 yards and a touchdown. Coach Lincoln Riley seeks another big game from his quarterback this weekend.

Through two games this season, Moss averages 303.5 passing yards with no turnovers.

Zachariah Branch, WR

Branch is another player who's started slow this month. However, the sophomore could break out against struggling Michigan. It's no secret that Zachariah Branch has game-changing speed. During USC's biggest early-season test, Coach Riley will look to get that speed in open space.

With eight catches in his first two games, Branch should be Moss's favorite downfield target versus the Wolverines. A few hookups from the duo will likely put needed points on the board against rebuilding Michigan.
