5 most overpowered abilities in EA Sports College Football 25 ft. 360
EA Sports College Football 25 was released on July 19, and fans have had plenty of time to get familiar with the new gameplay and added features. The addition of abilities in the game is one of the biggest new features.
Abilities offer boosts in certain categories to specific players. A total of 80 abilities are included in the game, and they are split into physical and mental abilities. Each of the 80 abilities is divided into four tiers: bronze, silver, gold and platinum.
Since the game's release, a few of these abilities have stood out over the rest. Here are five of the most overpowered abilities in EA Sports College Football 25.
5 most overpowered abilities in EA Sports College Football
#5. Aftershock
Aftershock is a physical ability that can be applied to defensive linemen in college football. This ability increases wear-and-tear effects on every player that is tackled by that particular lineman.
By increasing wear and tear effects, you can maximize the chances of a mistake being made by the opposing offense, along with increased fatigue and risk of injury.
#4. Workhorse
Workhorse is a great way for offensive players to counter the aftershock ability. It reduces the effects of wear and tear for offensive players on every hit they take.
The increased wear and tear protection ensures that the player will maximize their time on the field and avoid mistakes such as turnovers.
#3. Magician
This ability can be assigned to quarterbacks, increasing their agility while moving in the pocket. The pass blocking in College Football 25 often doesn't leave you much time in the pocket.
Being able to successfully navigate the pocket and dodge pass rushers with the magician ability will allow you more time to find the open receiver.
#2. Extender
Extender is an offensive physical ability that allows players an increased ability to break sacks. The platinum tier of this ability gives a player the ultimate break-sack ability from all defenders.
When your time in the pocket is limited against pass rushers, the ability to extend the play and give receivers more time to get open downfield is extremely useful.
#1. 360
The 360 ability allows players to maximize the effectiveness of spin moves to fake out defenders. It allows players to get defenders to bite on spin moves without slowing their momentum while running with the ball.
This ability has received attention recently with clips of Ohio State RB Quinshon Judkins in the game. Judkins has the platinum 360 ability and showcases how overpowered this ability can be.
This ability has been called a "cheat code" by players and is expected to be patched in a future update to reduce the chances of dodging an entire defense.
