5 teams that were not in NCAA14 but are in EA CFB 25 ft. JMU

EA College Football Game 25 has included all 134 FBS teams, similar to what NCAA Football 14 did when the game first launched. However, there were not 134 programs at the FBS level during the release of NCAA 14 more than a full decade ago.

Let's take a look at some of the new teams that players can use in EA CFB 25 for the first time.

5 Teams in EA CFB 25 that were not in NCAA 14

1. James Madison Dukes

The James Madison Dukes will enter their third college football season as part of the Sun Belt Conference. They have done extremely well, as they have been part of the AP Poll in each season as well. The Dukes went 11-2 last season in their second year as a Football Bowl Subdivision team. They should be an outstanding group of five teams to use in CFB 25.

2. Coastal Carolina Chanticleers

The Coastal Carolina Chanticleers have been a member of the Sun Belt Conference since the 2017 college football season, so this marks their video game debut. The school has played a bowl game in four of its seven seasons at the FBS level. They are well-positioned to do well and are an engaging squad to use in the EA CFB 25.

3. Liberty Flames

One of the best schools to officially make the jump to FBS and be included in the EA CFB 25 is the Liberty Flames. The program joined Conference-USA last season after being an independent program beginning in 2018. They have the most complete roster and this will be a great team to use for the first time in a video game.

4. Charlotte 49ers

The Charlotte 49ers are also another team that wasn't included in NCAA 14 but is available to be used in EA CFB 25. They joined Conference-USA ahead of the 2015 college football season and are looking to improve as they are entering Year 2 in the American Conference. It will be interesting to see how they do but they are available in College Football 25.

5. Georgia Southern Eagles

This one seemed to cause a lot of confusion, as people have misremembered that Georgia State was in NCAA 14 and not the Georgia Southern Eagles. The program joined the Sun Belt Conference for the 2014 college football season so they just missed the cut to make NCAA 14, but they are available in CFB 25.
