Pilar Sanders never misses an opportunity to flex her children, and why wouldn't she, especially with a son like Shedeur Sanders? The Colorado Buffaloes quarterback is making sure to impress his father and coach, Deion Sanders, on the field and his mother, Pilar, off of it.

In September 2023, Coach Prime's ex-wife shared a happy reel with her 249K Instagram followers about how her son Shedeur got her a Buffs T-shirt at her request. She proudly captioned the clip with an adorable thank-you message for her firstborn.

Pilar Sanders is an avid fan of all her children, Shedeur, Shilo and Shelomi, and likes to support them in their professional journey. She is frequently spotted at Colorado home matches, cheering them even on their worst days.

Pilar Sanders held the torch for Shelomi against Coach Prime

Pilar, the ever-supportive mother of Shelomi Sanders, held her ground in a family dispute involving her daughter and ex-husband. Shelomi, her youngest, made headlines when she transferred from the family base in Boulder to join the Alabama A&M Bulldogs' basketball program in April, which upset the Colorado football coach.

This sparked tension between Deion and his ex-wife, who defended Shelomi’s decision. According to her, Shelomi needed a change of scenery as she struggled to strive in Colorado. She openly discussed how Deion’s involvement may have limited her choices on her YouTube channel.

“When a child, a young adult, decides to step out on their own and even taking advice, not even in an arrogant way, not in a disrespectful way, but looking out for their own life, looking out for their own career, and doing what’s best to be done, the girl wants to play ball,” Pilar said.

“How about supporting somebody else? We know you have your favorites. We all know that; we’ve all seen it throughout life,” she added.

Shelomi has been thriving in her new environment at Alabama A&M, and Deion Sanders is also OK with her daughter carving a path on her own.
