Arch Manning is a redshirt freshman player for the Texas Longhorns football team in the Southeastern Conference (SEC) as of 2025. Notable for being the grandson of Archie Manning and the nephew of Eli Manning and Peyton Manning, his football career started at Isidore Newman School in his hometown of New Orleans. As a high school football player, Arch Manning became the 2022 Bobby Dodd National Back of the Year. Manning also earned an All-American and four-time All-State honors throughout his high school career.

Following the end of Arch Manning's high school career in 2023, he received offers from several colleges to be a part of their football team. However, he chose the University of Texas at Austin and started his college football career with the Texas Longhorns in 2023. He helped his team win the Big 12 Championship game against the Oklahoma State Cowboys in 2023 through his final snap in the game. More recently, he earned SEC Co-Freshman of the Week as well as Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award National Player of the Week honors in September 2024.
