Coach Prime's daughter Deiondra shares picture of her swollen legs post pregnancy: "Y'all wasn't lying when yall said after the baby"
Colorado Buffaloes coach Deion Sanders’ daughter Deiondra Sanders gave birth to her baby boy on Aug. 9. On Wednesday, Deiondra Sanders shared an update on social media after delivering the baby.
The 32-year-old mother shared an image of her swollen feet on her Instagram story. She also added a caption referring to post-pregnancy symptoms.
“Ya’ll wasn’t lying when ya’ll said after the baby😭😩😂,” Deiondra Sanders wrote.
The baby boy, named Que, was born amid a series of medical complications faced by the mother. Sanders had previously disclosed undergoing a cerclage procedure to address pregnancy-related issues.
Despite these challenges, she successfully delivered a healthy child. In a post on X, she expressed gratitude for her son's safe arrival. She mentioned that medical professionals characterized his survival as a miracle due to the presence of uterine fibroids.
"WE MADE IT YALL. Through every challenge- the fibroids, the threatened miscarriages, the shortened cervix, the cerclage..... by the grace of God, WE MADE IT. I can't do anything but praise him! Thank You, God. Thank you, Jesus," Deiondra wrote.
"This journey has been long, but seeing your face by sweet baby boy, made every moment worthwhile. I am overjoyed to be your mom and cannot wait to share a life time of love and adventures with you," she added.
Deion Sanders encouraged Deiondra Sanders post-pregnancy
Deiondra Sanders welcomed a healthy baby boy on her father’s birthday. She had previously announced the birth prematurely but later shared the accurate details: her son weighed six pounds, 13 ounces, and measured 18 inches long.
The baby was delivered by the same doctor who brought Deiondra into the world. Deiondra, engaged to R&B singer Jacquees, had been candid about her struggles with fibroids during pregnancy.
She described her son’s birth as a miracle.
“Doctors said it's a miracle Baby Que found a safe space in my uterus to latch on to and get nutrients. They said my fibroids are like cobblestones within my uterus. This baby is destined by God. Thank you, Jesus, for my blessing,” she tweeted.
Her father, Deion Sanders, responded to her post on X encouraging her and giving her his blessings.
"God is good baby," Deion Sanders tweeted.
