College Fantasy DraftKings Lineup: Today's DFS Picks ft Carson Beck & more (Oct. 14)
The main slate for the college fantasy DraftKings lineup is sure to provide a lot of options, with 12 games to choose from. Today, we are creating our optimal lineup for the Week 7 Saturday afternoon slate of games.
CFB DraftKings DFS Picks for October 14
The 12 games are very interesting and give us a lot of options. As you will see, we are loading up with Georgia Bulldogs players, as they should be able to move the ball extremely well against the Vanderbilt Commodores defense.
DFS Picks: Quarterback
Carson Beck, Georgia ($8,700)
Carson Beck is one of the best quarterbacks and facing a struggling Vanderbilt Commodores program is going to get a lot of points here. Coming off a game where he had a 4:1 touchdown-to-interception ratio last week against Kentucky, this is a huge chance for him to dominate.
We are going to hammer this Georgia team as they look to officially turn the corner after some struggles offensively. Last season, Beck went 8-of-11 for 98 yards and a pair of touchdowns against Vanderbilt so expect a solid game out of him here in a full 60 minutes.
DFS Picks - Running Backs
LeQuint Allen, Syracuse ($6,100)
LeQuint Allen has been doing well throughout the season and going up against the Florida State Seminoles should be interesting.
Averaging 4.6 yards per attempt on the ground and 20 receptions this season, he can add points in all different facets of the game. Allen is averaging 68.5 rushing yards in his last four games so he is a strong addition for your lineup.
Blake Corum, Michigan ($8,400)
Running back Blake Corum is an experienced running back who should dominate throughout this game. He is averaging 6.0 yards per carry this season and has 10 rushing touchdowns thus far.
Going up against Indiana, the Hoosiers are allowing 156.4 rushing yards per game. Be willing to accept the hefty price tag for one of the best players on the slate.
DFS Picks - Wide Receivers
Brock Bowers, Georgia ($7,400)
Tight end Brock Bowers is leading the Bulldogs in receiving this season and should be in your lineup as the top receiving option. He has excelled over his previous three games, specifically, as he is averaging eight catches and 136.7 receiving yards while finding the end zone 1.3 times.
He is on a hot stretch and against this Commodores' defense should continue to put up incredible numbers. The stack with Carson Beck will also be fruitful for us here.
Tez Johnson, Oregon ($5,900)
Tez Johnson is going to be down the list a little bit but has been a source for some fantasy points for your lineup. Johnson has 15 receptions for 203 yards (13.5 yards per catch) with three touchdown receptions.
He did not record a catch in his last game against Stanford so this will be a good bounce-back game as a wide receiver option against the Washington defense that allows 243.4 passing yards per game.
Dominic Lovett, Georgia ($5,800)
Another Bulldog player in our lineup is one of their top wide receivers, Dominic Lovett. He has been struggling to get going as he has not had more than three receptions in a game over the last three weeks. However, Vanderbilt is giving up 263.7 passing yards per game and this Georgia offense is beginning to click so make sure to add him.
Omar Cooper Jr., Indiana ($4,000)
Omar Cooper Jr. is a cheap option to make sure we can get our top talent and has the ability to put numbers up here. Going up against Michigan, expect a good game but nothing that will be huge towards our point total. Anything is better than nothing and should be a decent addition here.
Daniel Jackson, Iowa State ($3,700)
Daniel Jackson is going to be going up against the Cincinnati Bearcats and should be able to add a few receptions in this game.
Averaging 15.7 yards per catch, he can get yards without having a lot of targets. He has been quiet in the last two weeks but has proven to be able to have a big game. Cincinnati is giving up 228 passing yards per game and that will be something Jackson can take advantage of in this matchup.
