About College Football National Championship NCAA I Division
The NCAA Division I National Championship is the collegiate football game of the highest level in the United States. The game features the top two teams that compete for the National Championship Trophy. Beginning from the 2024-25 season, the committee selects 12 teams through a process known as seeding, to compete in College Football playoffs, that are played over a series of Bowl Games. The top four teams play in the semi-finals of the CFP and the winners compete in the National Championship Game. The winner is awarded the College Football Playoff National Championship Trophy, designed as a fresh successor to the 'crystal football' used by the AFCA. The event has become one of the biggest in college sports, showcasing top-tier talent and fierce competition.
