Colorado vs. Colorado State prediction & betting tips - September 14 | College Football Week 3

In Week 3, the Colorado Buffaloes (1-1) will take on the Colorado State Rams (1-1) on Saturday evening at Canvas Stadium in Fort Collins, Colorado. The in-state non-conference matchup will kick off at 7:30 p.m. ET.

The Buffs are coming off a 28-10 road loss on Saturday against the Nebraska Cornhuskers. Quarterback Shedeur Sanders struggled in the game as he went 23-of-38 for 244 yards, one touchdown and one interception.

The Rams are coming off a 38-17 home win over the Northern Colorado Bears. Quarterback Brayden Fowler-Nicolosi completed 18-of-27 passes for 202 yards, one TD, and two rushes for two yards and a touchdown.

Colorado vs. Colorado State prediction

The Colorado Buffaloes seemingly have their issues but should be able to bounce back and win on the road here. A year ago, Travis Hunter suffered an injury against the Rams. So these teams have some recent history as well. Expect this game to be tough, but this is a chance for the Buffaloes offensive line to step up after allowing five sacks to the Cornhuskers.

Rams QB Brayden Fowler-Nicolosi has been struggling to throw the football, as he has just one touchdown and an interception thus far. It is difficult to picture him lighting the world on fire, so take the Buffaloes to cover the spread in this game.
