Colorado vs. UCF football history: H2H, Records, and more ahead of Week 5 CFB Matchup

The Colorado Buffaloes are looking for their third straight victory, this time over the UCF Knights on Saturday. Coach Deion Sanders' team currently has a record of 3-1, having stumbled in Week 2 against coach Matt Rhule's Nebraska Cornhuskers. For their part, the Knights are 3-0, having already taken an open week early in the year.

Last week, the Buffs defeated Baylor 38-31 in a high-scoring Big 12 matchup that saw quarterback Shedeur Sanders go on a roll, throwing for 341 yards and two touchdowns. However, once again, Shedeur was highly sacked. The Bears were able to take down the Buffs signal-caller eight times.

The battle at the line of scrimmage remains an issue for the Colorado Buffaloes, only recording 91 yards. Travis Hunter was the school's best receiver, with 130 yards in seven receptions, although no touchdowns.

Meanwhile, the UCF Knights also won in Week 4, in their case against a 35-34 game against TCU. KJ Jefferson managed to record 230 yards and two touchdowns against the Horned Frogs, nonetheless staying pretty far away from TCU QB Josh Hoover's numbers (402 yards and four touchdowns).

The real difference maker for the Knights was running back RJ Harvey, who ran for 180 yards and had two rushing touchdowns. In total, UCF ran for 289 yards.
