"Don't want anyone looking at your b*tt" - When Coach Prime's ex-wife Pilar Sanders revealed why Shilo was against her attending CU's gamesĀ

Colorado Buffaloes coach Deion Sanders's ex-wife Pilar Sanders has been almost ever-present at their children's (Shilo, Shedeur and Shelomi) games after they moved from Jackson State to Boulder when their father took the Buffs coaching job.

During a 2022 episode of the "Second Shot," Pilar revealed why Shilo was against her attending his football games when he was still a player for the Jackson State Tigers.

"My son, like Shilo in particular, he's like, 'Mommy just stay home, you don't have to do anything," Pilar Sanders said. "Oh my gosh! My son, Shilo is just like whenever we show up for the game, he's trying to cover me like, 'I don't want anyone looking at your bu*t or your shape' and I'm like, 'Shilo, come on!'
"But it's funny because people who don't know us would think that I'm their age or their sister or something like that."

When Shilo seemingly chose Pilar Sanders over Coach Prime

The divorce between Coach Prime and Pilar Sanders in 2013 was not without drama as the couple continued to dominate tabloid headlines with their antics during the divorce.

While Coach Prime got full custody of their children, Pilar got visitation rights and in the course of one such session, she decided not to return the kids to their father. The matter eventually went to court as she claimed that Deion kicked and punched one of their sons.

After she was sued for defamation by the charismatic Colorado coach, she was also jailed for contempt of court.

Shilo Sanders inserted himself into the acrimony of his parent's divorce when he posted a tweet that has since been deleted which sided with Pilar Sanders over his father in 2017.

"After what seems like forever, I'm finally officially back full-time with my mom! My mom having full custody of me is all I have wanted for years. Thank you to the court system for finally seeing the truth and putting me in a healthy, loving environment," Shilo wrote in the now-deleted post.

Harmony seems to have returned to the Sanders household, with Shilo and Shedeur Sanders enjoying productive college football careers under their father even as their mother supports them from the stands in Boulder during game days.
