Florida Gators transfer portal tracker: All players who have entered the transfer portal after the 2024 season
Even as Florida rescued its season and is now preparing for a Gasparilla Bowl matchup with Tulane, several Gators are hitting the transfer portal. The unending transfer portal cycle is on again, and a multitude of UF athletes are making a move. Here's a rundown on which Gators has decided to hit the road.
Florida Gators transfer portal tracker: Players who have entered portal
Gavin Hill, TE
Hill spent two seasons at UF with no playing time. As an in-state player who committed as a defensive lineman and moved to a tight end, Hill has different possibilities in the portal.
Jack Pyburn, LB
Pyburn is an outstanding linebacker who will see immediate time elsewhere. In 2024, as a junior, he posted 60 tackles, four TFLs, a sack and an interception. Pyburn will be one of the top targets in the transfer portal. He hasn't ruled out returning to UF, either.
Adam Mihalek, K
Mihalek was Florida's starting kicker in 2022, making 14 of 21 field goals. He saw some action in 2023 but made just one of three kicks. He's back in the portal (which he also entered a year ago) and looking for a new home.
Parker Leise, QB
Leise had the bad luck to be in the same class as DJ Lagway. Not seeing action at UF, he's entereing the portal and will have his full four years of eligibility elsewhere.
Deuce Spurlock II, LB
Spurlock is having something of a tour of major colleges. He played briefly at Michigan and then transferred to Florida, where he didn't see any action. He's back in the portal and will have two more seasons of eligibility.
Arlis Boardingham, TE
A productive tight end, Boardingham will have two seasons of eligibility out of the portal. In 2023, he had a big season, making numerous All-Freshman teams after posting 26 receptions for 289 yards and four touchdowns. In 2024, he caught just 18 passes for 128 yards and two touchdowns. He's moving on now.
Christian Williams, OL
In three years at Florida, Williams played six games. Essentially a depth guy at UF, he'll have two years of eligibility left at his next stop.
Kelby Collins, DL
Collins had an impressive 2023 season, but after struggling in 2024, he is moving along. As a freshman, Collins had 23 tackles and 1.5 sacks while playing every game. But in 2024, the sophomore saw action in six games and made six tackles.
Ja'Keem Jackson, CB
A highly-prized recruit, Jackson's UF career hadn't even taken off. He's now headed to LSU. Jackson saw action in 11 games in 2023, making seven tackles and breaking up a pass. He played just two games in 2024, making four tackles and breaking up another pass. He'll have three years of remaining eligibility.
Mike Williams, OL
A young offensive lineman, Williams didn't see any playing time in his season with the Gators. He'll retain his full four years of eligibility at his next stop.
Quincy Ivory, DE
Ivory was a JUCO product who played two seasons in Gainesville with one tackle. He'll have a season of eligibility with his new program.
Bryce Capers, DE
Capers was a walk-on who spent three seasons at Florida, seeing only a handful of total snaps. Capers will retain two seasons of eligibility moving forward.
Justus Boone, DE
A four-star prospect, Boone had a limited impact at UF. In 2024, he logged 10 tackles and two tackles for loss. He will have one season of eligibility remaining with his new team.
Andy Jean, WR
Jean showed flashes of talent as a freshman in 2023, with six catches for 97 yards. Injuries derailed his 2024 season and now he's entering the transfer portal, where he'll have three seasons of eligibility left.
