#1 Luke Kromenhoek, QB

Quarterback Luke Kromenhoek is a four-star recruit who will join Florida State this season as the likely backup to Oregon State transfer DJ Uiagalelei. While Kromenhoek may not see the field much this season, the future is bright for this 6-foot-3 recruit from Benedictine Military School.

Kromenhoek is the fourth-ranked QB in the class of 2024 by On3 and the 45th-ranked overall recruit. He spent time playing wide receiver and safety during his first two seasons of high school football, but later transitioned to quarterback and emerged as one of the nation's top talents at that position.

He has a cannon of an arm and can launch the ball downfield from multiple angles. He completed 62.9% of his passes last season and finished with 2,578 yards with 24 touchdowns, along with over 500 yards and seven scores on the ground.

#2 Charles Lester III, CB

Venice High School CB Charles Lester III committed to play for Mike Norvell and the Seminoles as the eighth-ranked corner in the class of 2024 by On3. Lester was a two-way standout at both receiver and cornerback in high school. He stands at 6-feet-2 and moves extremely well, using his height to close down receivers.

He may not be the quickest defensive back on the field, but he still tallied 53 tackles in the last three seasons on defense. Lester received 28 total offers and made visits to Alabama, Colorado and Florida State before ultimately committing to FSU.

He talked to ESPN's Blake Baumgartner regarding his decision to play for Florida State:

"I trust them and it's my childhood dream school. ... Out of all the places I've been, I just get that feeling for that school every time. So just from the people, opportunity and the way they're going with the program now, that helped me pick my decision."

#3 Jamari Howard, CB

Jamari Howard will be joining Mike Norvell and the Seminoles as the 14th-ranked cornerback in the class of 2024 by On3. The Miami, FL native is a four-star recruit who committed to Florida State after receiving offers from Alabama, Michigan State, Florida, Georgia, Oklahoma, Miami and Penn State.

Howard made visits to both Michigan State and Florida State before committing to play for the Seminoles in 2024. The 6-foot-1, 180-pound defensive back transferred to Miami Norland High School for his senior year after playing for Hialeah Westland.

He spent time playing both wide receiver and cornerback, finishing his 2022 campaign with 33 tackles, 15 passes defended, two forced fumbles and a single interception.

Howard will join a Seminoles secondary that allowed just 179.7 passing yards to opponents last season and ranked 18th in the nation, allowing 19.3 points per game. He's also proven himself as a threat on special teams, returning a punt during his 2022 season with Hialeah Westland.
