“Handled it with poise”: Colorado fans admire Shedeur Sanders’ random act of kindness with surprise meet

Colorado Buffaloes quarterback Shedeur Sanders made a surprise visit to Fairview High School in Boulder, Colorado, on Sunday. He spent time speaking to students, as the football team had a Q&A session with him.

Fans quickly responded with admiration:

"I saw that kid step on your shoe," a fan wrote. "You handled it with poise. Some people will try to kill you for stepping on their clean shoes, even some celebrities and rappers that I've seen. I know that you have your own shoe line, but some people would have still been irritated. You have great public relations skills

Another fan appreciated the young QB giving back and staying away from drugs and alcohol:

“It so good to see a young black man keep up with helping to give back to others and say no,drugs and alcohol and games it's the answer,” one wrote.

Sanders has had an impressive 2024 season so far. He’s recorded 2,268 passing yards, 19 touchdowns and six interceptions. His QBR sits at 72.3, placing him 35th in the nation.

Maxx Crosby talks about his relationship with Shedeur Sanders amid QB's hot streak

During an appearance on "The Rush," Las Vegas Raiders defensive end Maxx Crosby opened up about his close bond with the Colorado quarterback.

"That's my guy. Shedeur's my guy, that's what people don't know," Crosby said.

Crosby shared that their relationship goes way back:

"When I was young, I was like in high school, I went to Deion's actual house. I saw Shedeur when he was like a little chubby kid.
"Me and Shedeur, we've been cool for a long time. He shot me a Facetime, he's chillin' and we were just talking about his game and everything."

Crosby isn't the only one who's hyped Shedeur Sanders, as Raiders owner Mark Davis has also spoken highly of him.
