Texas Tech (8-4) will look to finish on its right foot after winning three of their last four games of the season. The Red Raiders scored over 50 points in their final two games. Bahren Morton threw for over 350 yards in both of those games.

However, it may be Tahj Brooks and the running game making the difference against the Razorbacks. Brooks will be playing his final game at Texas Tech in Memphis after rushing for 1,505 yards and 17 touchdowns during the season. He could take advantage of the Hogs' undermanned defense. Arkansas will not have Eric Gregory or Landon Jackson on the defensive line.

While the Red Raiders enter the bowl season on fire on offense, the Razorbacks' depth will be put to the test. Opt-outs hurt Arkansas the most in this game. Leading receiver Andrew Armstrong entered the transfer portal, as did second-leading receiver Isaiah Sategna.

The ground game might not do much better, as leading rusher Ja'Quinden Jackson also opted out of the bowl game. Jackson struggled with injuries all season but he produced while on the field.

Overall, the Arkansas roster will be in flux, not just for this game, but also in 2025. The Hogs have also lost their last three SEC games, including a 63-31 drubbing at the hands of Ole Miss on Nov. 1.
