"If Ohio State wins by 50, Paul Finebaum will retire and donate his life earnings": Fans mad at one-sided CFP game drop wild reactions

Fans were buzzing with wild reactions after a lopsided College Football Playoff clash between Ohio State and Tennessee on Saturday. No. 8 Ohio State cruised past No. 9 Tennessee with a dominant 42–17 victory, securing their spot in the quarterfinals set for New Year's Eve and New Year's Day.

The Buckeyes stormed to an early 21–0 lead and never looked back, leaving the Volunteers struggling to catch up. The game sparked plenty of chatter online.

“I've seen Tennessee play in stadiums across this country for a long time, and I can guarantee you this," another fan tweeted. "*IF* Tennessee wins at Ohio State, Javontez Spraggins is planting a flag in the ground even if it gets him cuffed. He weighs 340. He's from East St. Louis. He ain't scared.”
“Former Alabama C Seth Mcglaughlin celebrated Ohio State’s first round CFP win over Tennessee the only way he knows how to,” one tweeted.
“Ohio State wants to ban flag planting," one tweeted. "How about banning trying to incite fights by lining up close to Tennessee and talking trash while the Volunteers are merely trying to get to the locker room. This didn't work well for Ohio State and Jack Sawyer vs Michigan and won't tonight.”

The victory ended Tennessee's season as Ohio State advanced to the next stage, delivering an emphatic statement in Columbus, Ohio.

Ohio State trolling the Volunteers by blasting "Rocky Top" over the stadium speakers

Ohio State added a playful twist to their dominant College Football Playoff win over Tennessee, trolling the Volunteers by blasting "Rocky Top" over the stadium speakers after the game. As if that wasn’t enough, they seamlessly transitioned to "Na Na Hey Hey Kiss Him Goodbye" to send a clear farewell message to the visiting fans.

Nearly 40,000 Tennessee fans packed into the 102,780-seat Ohio Stadium in Columbus, starting the day with high spirits and a rousing rendition of "Rocky Top" before kickoff. By the end, however, the Volunteers faithful had little reason to sing along to their anthem as Ohio State celebrated their blowout victory.
