To the coaches, teammates, and everyone who believed in me - thank you for helping me grow both on and off the field. The memories made and lessons learned will stay with me forever.
"To the amazing fans, your unwavering support has meant the world to me and has been a constant source of motivation. After thoughtful consideration and discussions with my family, I've decided to enter the transfer portal with a redshirt and three years of eligibility remaining. I am excited for what the future holds as I continue to pursue my goals in football and beyond."

Five potential Isaac Wilson landing spots

#1 BYU Cougars

The BYU Cougars were heavily involved in Isaac Wilson's recruitment coming out of high school.

The program has familiarity with his family, as his older brother Zach Wilson starred under center for Kalani Sitake's squad from 2018-2020. Joining the Cougars would also allow the younger Wilson brother to stay in his home state of Utah.

#2 UCLA Bruins

The UCLA Bruins were another program who targeted Isaac Wilson coming out of high school. They could look to regauge his interest in joining the program.

Starting quarterback Ethan Garbers has exhausted his collegiate eligiblity, while backup Justyn Martin has entered the transfer portal. The Bruins could provide Wilson with the opportunity to start in a major market.

#3 Washington Huskies

The Washington Huskies are the lone team listed that didn't recruit Isaac Wilson coming out of high school. Coach Jedd Fisch recruited the quarterback, as he was leading the Arizona Wildcats at the time.

Huskies starting quarterback Will Rogers has exhausted his collegiate eligiblity, so Wilson's door to playing time could be open.

#4 Miami (FL) Hurricanes

The Miami (FL) Hurricanes were another team that recruited Isaac Wilson coming out of high school.

Starting quarterback Cam Ward finished fourth in Heisman Trophy voting in his lone season with the program and appears destined to be a top-five pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. Coach Mario Cristobal could look to bring Wilson in by pointing to Ward's success.

#5 Oregon Ducks

The Oregon Ducks are yet another program who recruited Isaac Wilson out of high school and have had success with one-year transfer quarterbacks.

Starting quarterback Dillon Gabriel finished third in Heisman Trophy voting after leading the Ducks into the postseason with an undefeated record. They figure to be in the market for a new signal caller under center, as Gabriel is in his final year of eligibility.
