The SEC is set to have a new look during the 2024 season. The conference has expanded to 16 teams following the offseason addition of the Oklahoma Sooners and Texas Longhorns. The conference remains as the premier league in college football, with several programs expected to contend for a position in the expanded College Football Playoff field.

SEC schools have had no problem attracting top-level talent and the 2024 transfer portal was no different as several elite prospects joined the conference via the transfer portal. Take a look at the SEC's top-ten transfer prospects to watch out for in 2024 below.

#1: Kadyn Proctor

Kadyn Proctor initially joined the Alabama Crimson Tide as a five-star prospect in the 2023 recruiting class. His inclusion on this list is the result of a strange offseason in which he joined the Iowa Hawkeyes via the transfer portal following Nick Saban's retirement, only to return to Alabama. The offensive tackle earned Freshman All-American and first-team All-SEC Freshman honors last season. He re-joined the Crimson Tide as the second-ranked transfer prospect.

#2: Walter Nolen

Walter Nolen joined the Texas A&M Aggies as a five-star prospect in the 2022 recruiting class. He recorded 66 tackles, 11.0 tackles for loss, 5.0 sacks, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery and one pass defended during his two years with the program. The defensive lineman joined the Ole Miss Rebels as the third-ranked transfer prospect.

#3: Isaiah Bond

Isaiah Bond joined the Alabama Crimson Tide as a four-star prospect in the 2022 recruiting class. In two seasons, he recorded 888 receiving yards and five touchdowns on 65 receptions. He joined the transfer portal following Nick Saban's retirement. The wide receiver joined the Texas Longhorns as the fourth-ranked transfer prospect.

#4: Jason Zandamela

Jason Zandamela joined the USC Trojans as a four-star prospect in the 2024 recruiting class. After enrolling early in January, the center ultimately joined the Florida Gators as the seventh-ranked transfer prospect.

#5: Cayden Green

Cayden Green initially joined the Oklahoma Sooners as a four-star prospect in the 2023 recruiting class. He appeared in 12 games, making five starts, as a true freshman. The offensive tackle joined the Missouri Tigers as the 11th-ranked transfer prospect.

#6: Nic Scourton

Nic Scourton initially joined the Purdue Boilermakers as a four-star prospect in the 2022 recruiting class. In two seasons, he recorded 72 tackles, 17.0 tackles for loss, 12.0 sacks, two forced fumbles and three passes defended. The defensive end joined the Texas A&M Aggies as the 15th-ranked transfer prospect.

#7: London Humphreys

London Humphreys joined the Vanderbilt Commodores as a three-star prospect in the 2023 recruiting class. He recorded 439 receiving yards and four touchdowns on 22 receptions, earning first-team All-SEC Freshman honors. The wide receiver joined the Georgia Bulldogs as the 17th-ranked transfer prospect.

#8: Princely Umanmielen

Princely Umanmielen joined the Florida Gators as a four-star prospect in the 2020 recruiting class. In four seasons, one of which he redshirt, he recorded 99 tackles, 24.5 tackles for loss, 15.0 sacks and three forced fumbles. The defensive end joined the Ole Miss Rebels as the 18th-ranked transfer prospect.

Lance Heard initially joined the LSU Tigers as a five-star prospect in the 2023 recruiting class. He appeared in 12 games, making one start. The offensive tackle joined the Tennessee Volunteers as the 19th-ranked transfer prospect.

#10: Dezz Ricks

Dezz Ricks initially joined the Alabama Crimson Tide as a four-star prospect in the 2023 recruiting class. After redshirting his true freshman season, he entered the transfer portal following Nick Saban's retirement. The cornerback joined the Texas A&M Aggies as the 20th-ranked transfer prospect.
