Travis Hunter's Heisman victory made a fan's dream a reality. Peggy Coppom has seen a century of history, much of it while also being a fan of the Colorado Buffaloes.

Now, she has been part of that history, accompanying Travis Hunter, Deion Sanders and the rest of the Buffaloes as they celebrated the school's second Heisman Trophy.

While the trophy was exhibited at the school, the centenarian posed in front of it while mimicking the famous Heisman pose. She was also seen taking pictures with Coach Prime himself.

Who's Colorado superfan Peggy Coppom?

Peggy Coppom is a local celebrity in Boulder, a city she has called home since 1939, just before WW2.

At the time, she was a teenager and had just enrolled in Boulder High School alongside her twin sister Betty Hoover Fitzgerald. Peggy and her family started to attend Colorado games in 1940. She even attended the school for a year in 1943. Coppom turned 100 on Nov. 15 this year.

One of Deion Sanders' stated goals for this season, was to be able to gift Peggy a Colorado participation in a bowl game, a goal he delivered with the Buffaloes set to face BYU in the Alamo Bowl on Dec. 28. He could also provide another treat for her, in the form of Travis Hunter's Heisman win.

Deion Sanders reveals Shedeur Sanders' goal for the 2025 NFL Draft

On Saturday, on the Rich Eisen Show, Coach Prime opened up on what his son expects to achieve during the 2025 NFL Draft. The statement also seemed to reveal that Shedeur Sanders will accept any franchise that picks him:

"I just saw the goal was to go before I did. And he is gonna eclipse that because I was the fifth pick. He is certainly going to be one or two or whatever he is going to be. So, that is what he wants.
"He never told me that but that is what he wants ... It is the Raiders or the Giants. Those two probably. And you know right now, that is where it is going to go."

It seems to put down any speculation regarding the possibility of Shedeur Sanders pulling an "Eli Manning", and refusing to sign for the team that drafts him.

The New York Giants remain the most likely team to get the first overall pick of the draft, and their need for a new quarterback Shedeur Sanders and Cameron Ward look like their best options.
