102,850 fans flock to watch Arch Manning show at Austin during Week 4 face-off against La-Monroe
The Arch Manning-mania is crazy in Texas. Eli Manning's nephew is making his first start for the Texas Longhorns against the Louisiana-Monroe Warhawks in week 4. That's because Longhorns' first-choice quarterback Quinn Ewers had to sit out the game owing to an injured oblique suffered in the week 3 matchup with UTSA.
Arch, the 19-year-old quarterback, has made good use of the opportunity, first against the Roadrunner, where he threw for 223 yards and recorded four touchdowns.
He was the show's star when he started for Steve Sarkisian against UL-Monroe. Manning threw another 258 yards and two touchdowns with two interceptions.
The young QB was already a famous entity in the college football world because of his last name, and he's doing it justice with his on-field performances. A total of 102,850 fans flocked to watch the new "Manning" sensation at the Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium.
Led by Manning from the front, the Longhorns cruised to a convincing 51-3 victory over UL-Monroe.

Former Texas QB advises Arch Manning to "ignore the noise"
Texas football legend Colt McCoy has some sage advice for Arch Manning: "Ignore the noise." McCoy, who was inducted into the Texas Athletics Hall of Fame on Saturday, spoke about the pressures of being a quarterback at the University of Texas.
With Manning's name stirring buzz and Quinn Ewers set to return as starter once healthy, McCoy stressed the importance of staying focused on the game. Talking to SECN+, the former Texas QB said:
“There’s a lot of pressure at playing quarterback at Texas.
He encouraged Manning and Ewers to trust the talented team around them.
"This team is built to win a championship," McCoy continued, praising the job coach Steve Sarkisian and quarterbacks coach AJ Milwee have done in preparing the Longhorns.
McCoy’s advice?
“Just go out there, ignore the noise, and play your game.”
Ewers is eyeing a potential return against Mississippi State, but the competition at QB will continue to be a hot topic in Austin as Texas builds its championship hopes.
