Texas A&M football 2025 NFL Draft preview
Shemar Turner
Shemar Turner is an athletic big man who shows great explosion, movement skills, and speed. He’s fast up the field and can rush the passer as well as make positive plays in space. Measuring 6-foot-3, 289 pounds, Turner has growth potential and scheme versatility.
Nic Scourton
Nic Scourton was one of the players who transferred into the program, and it was a major addition to the Aggies' defense. Scourton was a game disruptor at Purdue last season, registering 10 sacks and 15 TFLs and breaking up three passes. He’s athletic yet nasty and looks to annihilate opponents. His build and game are similar to Turner's.
Conner Weigman
Junior passer Conner Weigman is another with a ton of upside who could move up draft boards. Weigman is a big-armed passer who can make plays in or out of the pocket and can make all the throws. He must learn to consistently deliver the ball with proper fundamentals, which will help his accuracy, yet Weigman’s size and arm strength will impress NFL decision-makers.
