$45 million worth Coach Prime drops 2-word message as he shows off Colorado's eye-catching plane
Two years ago, Deion “Coach Prime” Sanders touched down at Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport late at night, ready to take on his new role as head coach of the Colorado Buffaloes football team. In two seasons, Sanders has made a resounding impact, turning the program around and securing a spot in the Alamo Bowl.
On Saturday, the No. 23 Buffaloes will face the No. 17 BYU Cougars in San Antonio. Since 2010, the Alamo Bowl has traditionally featured the second-choice teams from the Pac-12 and Big 12, and this year’s matchup promises to deliver high-stakes excitement.
Sharing his signature flair on Instagram on Sunday, Sanders, who boasts an estimated net worth of $45 million per CelebrityNetWorth, posted a two-word caption alongside a shot of Colorado’s striking team plane.
“Lawd Jesus,” he wrote.
Under Coach Prime’s leadership, the Buffaloes have undergone a dramatic transformation. After finishing 4-8 in 2023, they surged to a remarkable 9-3 record in 2024. Now, with Heisman Trophy winner Travis Hunter leading the charge, Colorado is back in action, gearing up for its bowl game with intense practice sessions this week.
This marks only the Buffaloes’ third bowl appearance in 17 seasons—each at the Alamo Bowl. Adding to the stakes, quarterback Shedeur Sanders, projected to be a top pick in the upcoming NFL draft, is determined to end the season on a high note before taking the next step in his career.
Coach Prime got some news that could shake up Shedeur’s NFL aspirations
On Sunday, Colorado’s Shedeur Sanders and his father, Deion Sanders, got some news that could shake up their NFL aspirations. In October, Las Vegas Raiders majority owner Mark Davis hinted to Shedeur that Las Vegas might become his home next April.
Adding to the intrigue, minority owner Tom Brady—widely regarded as the greatest quarterback of all time—shares personal ties with both Coach Prime and Shedeur.
However, according to Athlon Sports, those connections might not be enough. The Raiders’ chances of landing the young quarterback took a hit after their narrow five-point win against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday. The victory improved their season record to 3-12 but dropped them to the No. 6 spot in the NFL draft order.
This shift complicates things, as at least three teams positioned ahead of Las Vegas in the draft—New York Giants (No. 1), Tennessee Titans (No. 4) and Cleveland Browns (No. 5)—are likely to target quarterbacks. To secure Shedeur, the Raiders now face two options: abandon their pursuit or prepare to pay a hefty price to move up in the draft.
